Entries are now open for the ninth edition of the HVR Awards, giving companies from across the heating and ventilating sectors the opportunity to win a coveted ‘flame’ trophy.

There are more awards up for grabs than ever before, with the introduction of four new categories. HVAC Initiative of the Year and Ancillary Product of the Year will join the returning judged categories; Commercial/Industrial Ventilation, Heating and Air Conditioning Products of the Year, Sustainable Product of the Year, Contractor of the Year and the sought-after Lifetime Achievement Award.

The industry will have an opportunity to make its voice heard in the new Training Initiative of the Year and Community Spirit Award categories, the winners of which will be decided by an online vote in addition to the established Customer Service Person of the Year and Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year categories.

HVR editor Heather Ramsden says: “The four new categories reflect the changing face of the industry. We’re particularly excited about the Community Spirit Award which we’re certain will be a huge hit.”

“HVAC companies are much more than just the products and services they provide. What makes this industry so great is companies’ commitment to their communities and the charitable efforts they invest time, money and resources into – and we wanted to reward that. What really sets this award apart is that the charity or initiative supported by the winner will be the beneficiary of the annual charity collection carried out at the HVR Awards ceremony!”

The full criteria for each category can be found on the HVR Awards website along with a brand new entry form – which allows companies to put enter multiple categories with just one submission.
