Entry is well underway for the 2018 edition of the HVR Awards and companies are invited to submit their examples of excellence through a refreshed online entry form before Friday 29 June.

The heating and ventilating sector is undergoing a period of transition as changing legislation phases out older units and procedures, creating opportunities for innovative companies to launch new products and services in their wake.

The prestigious HVR Awards scheme has undergone somewhat of a revamp to reflect the rapidly changing landscape of the sector and continue its legacy of recognizing and rewarding companies that show a commitment to keeping pace with change.

As such, four new categories have been introduced for this year’s cycle; HVAC Initiative of the Year, Ancillary Product of the Year, Training Initiative of the Year and the Community Spirit Award.

Among the returning categories at this year’s iteration of the HVR Awards is ‘Contractor of the Year’, which has received the continued support of sponsor Albion Valves UK.

Les Littlewood, sales and marketing director at Albion Valves UK, comments on the importance of the scheme to the fast-changing sector: “The HVR Awards are a great way to create an environment of healthy competition, as well as recognizing and rewarding individual achievements.”

“We encourage businesses in the building sector to enter and celebrate their successes as a fantastic morale booster for their teams.”

Also returning to the category line-up in 2018 is Commercial/Industrial Ventilation Product of the Year, Commercial/Industrial Heating Product of the Year, Commercial/Industrial Air Conditioning Product of the Year, Sustainable Product of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Customer Service Person of the Year and Wholesaler/Distributor of the Year.

The full criteria for each category and the new & improved entry form can be found at www.hvrawards.com.
